Here at First Pilgrim Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, we always welcome new faces and look forward to getting to know you better. We serve a true God. The one and only true and living God, God the Father. "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). We have unity. "There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." (Ephesians 4:4-6).

Dear beloved members of First Pilgrim Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, newcomers, and visitors,
Grace and peace to you all. As your senior pastor, it is my honor to welcome you to our church's website and to share a message that is close to my heart. Our theme for this season is "Love, Unity, & Compassion," which we aim to embody through being "One People, One Purpose, with One Practice."
At the core of our faith lies the commandment to love one another. This love is not merely a feeling but a commitment to act with kindness, understanding, and empathy. It is in this spirit that we strive for unity, recognizing our strength lies in our togetherness. As a church, we are called to be a beacon of compassion, extending our hands and hearts to those in need, both within our congregation and beyond.

As your pastor, my leadership philosophy is deeply rooted in the concept of servant leadership. I believe in leading by serving first, putting the needs of our church family at the forefront of my actions. This approach is about fostering an environment where trust, respect, and empathy flourish. It is about listening actively, understanding deeply, and responding thoughtfully to the voices of our congregation.

In our journey together, I encourage each of you to embrace these values of love, unity, and compassion. Let us be a community uplifting one another, seeking to understand before being understood, and practicing kindness in all our interactions.
